Chuck Neth, PE President/Owner
Chuck is a Professional Engineer with almost 20 years of experience providing engineering support to contractors working on heavy civil infrastructure projects.
Following graduation from North Carolina State University, Chuck worked as a Project Engineer for a national heavy-lift and heavy-haul contractor. While there, he gained invaluable field experience that makes him an excellent resource for all things related to cranes, rigging, and SPMTs. Chuck is a frequent presenter and attendee at industry seminars dedicated to Construction Engineering, Temporary Works, Heavy Movable Structures, and Accelerated Bridge Construction; he is also the Chairman of the ASME B30.31 subcommittee, “Self-Propelled, Towed or Remote-Controlled Hydraulic Platform Transporters.”
Before starting Neth Engineering, Chuck was a Senior Engineer and then Vice President for a Construction Engineering firm in the NYC metro area. He led a team of engineers on various challenging infrastructure projects and developed many strong client relationships there.
Outside of work, Chuck is a family man; blessed with a loving wife and three daughters that keep him busy. On the weekends he moonlights as a barbecue pitmaster, is a card-carrying member of the Bills Mafia, and a fanatic for all things related to NC State.
